P&G Startup Challenge is an initiative of P&G India to empower innovations & startups via a couple of business challenges across multiple sectors. Our objective is to identify startups that have the potential to solve those challenges through innovative solutions.

P&G Startup Challenge is an amazing platform for startups to get an opportunity to collaborate with P&G, one of the world’s largest FMCG companies. The program, conceptualized by P&G and executed in association with IncubateHub, aims to provide a unique set of high level business challenges that require innovative tech-enabled solutions which work at the scale of the P&G’s vast sales & marketing network.

  • 1. What is P&G Startup Challenge?
    P&G Startup Challenge is an initiative of P&G India to empower innovations & startups via a couple of business challenges across multiple sectors. Our objective is to identify startups that have the potential to solve those challenges through innovative solutions.
  • 2. Are there any pre-requisites for applying?
    Your startup must have a Minimum Viable Product and if selected, should be willing to work with P&G to execute the proposed solution.
  • 3. How can I apply for the challenge & is there any application fee?
    Startups can apply online here. There are no application fees.
  • 4. How do I know my startup is shortlisted?
    All shortlisted teams will receive an email communicating their selection for next round.
  • 5. who owns IP?
    The IP right of the solution will always belong to the startups.
  • 6. When will the list of winner(s) be announced?
    Post the completion of final presentation on May first|second week, the selected startups will be announced.
  • 7. Will there be any equity component or grant involved?
    We do not take any equity or give cash grants. Depending on the solution and its feasibility, we will support the startup to pilot and scale the selected solution.
  • 8. Does my business need to be a B2C or B2B business?
    Either is good.

  • 10. Does P&G wishes to licence the software?
    Yes if the POC is successful then we can discuss the model. Definitely licensing is one option.
  • 11. What does P&G & Selected Startups get in return in this program.?
    Selected Startup gets an opportunity to do a POC in the 1st stage & if the POC is successful then scale the solution to P&G's large Kirana store network in India and beyond depending on the solution.P&G is looking for Deeptech startups who can help improve experience of Kirana store management & operation.
